Besides new trends like SUP wingfoiling or kite skateboarding we never forget our roots. The first F2 surfboards were designed and tested by surf legend Peter Brockhaus in the late seventies. Today there is a whole team taking care of the technical details and the fancy designs. Even testing and trialling has become more professional in the 40 years of experience. In the meantime, F2 has established a permanent surf spot in Egypt.
As with all our boards, we bring quality to the water because F2 tests and tries extensively. Most of this takes place in our Pro Center in Egypt: "Element Watersports". This is where decisions are made that affect our entire watersports collection. Once the ideal riding characteristics have been determined in all sizes and found to be producible, the designer team at the Bavarian headquarters begins creating the designs.
As world market leader, we regularly bring out new collections and recognize trends long before they become known. Despite all this innovations, we always stay connected to our roots, so that the classic surfboards will always find a place in our collection. No matter if radical waves or smooth "party waves": Available in the classic shaped and hand-laminated version, as training-proven soft decks, or brand new - for little space, the inflatable bodyboard and surfboard versions.
In addition to building boards for the experts, we also keep in mind developing boards for the whole family. F2 not only serves a small market segment for extreme athletes. F2 is also a family brand.
